Il potere della comunicazione / The power of communication

An article by Maria Anna Franini in the beginning of December quoting L'obelisco nero, thousands of people reading it and so you have the boom: everyone is seeking for it.
The power of communication always surprises me.
Let's say it more clearly: the Franini's column on Il Giornale was talking about the orchestra leader Lorin Mazel, 83 years old man with 72 years of experience behind his back Talking about many things, Maazel then asked if he might give an advice: "Can I suggest a book? You just have to read Erich Maria Rearque's L'obelisco nero, of course if you aren't afraid of the Bad Truth that regards me and all of you. The mentioned book have in common the author's purpose of revealing the hypocrisy and delusions that we demonstrate every day." (The - bad - translation is mine; entire article at the link)
And even in the next day a friend who's journalist asked me to find it, as well as two other people, while in the meantime the remainded Ebay copies went slowly sold out, causing the rarity of the book.
Now the prices of this text increased by 50 percent or more, all due to the article.
The power of communication.
