Aste settimanali / Auctions of the week

This week's Ebay auction that captured me most regards the so-called protofantascienza, about which I wrote in two posts (12).
It's the Science Fiction's ante quem, which in the past ten years have been reconsidered by the researchers and collectors.
Luigi Motta  (1881-1955) is one of the most known exponents of the genre, mainly inspired by the more famous Emilio Salgari.
His bibliography is really reach and the covers of his books very beautiful: this is a valued book although it's not a first edition (which is by Treves, 1911).
The novel in 1929 has been proposed for a movie to the Fox Film Corporation but it was refused.
